Mowing Crew - Part Time
General Description:
- Assist Traffic Control Crew in mowing, trimming and litter control throughout the City of Eden.
- Utilizing yard tool (trimmer - blower) in removing grass from sidewalks and curb and gutters.
- Performs a variety of duties in assisting with the Traffic Control Crew.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of operating a trimmer and zero turn mower.
- Working knowledge in using yard shovels, rakes etc.
- Ability to communicate with crew leader and crew.
- Ability to be courteous to employees and the public.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety policies.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational support of stooping, reaching, walking, twisting, getting in and out of dump truck and ranking leaves to leaf machine.
- Must be able to perform very heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently; and 20 pounds constantly.

- Any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
Special Requirement:
Possession of a valid driver's license
